![]() ![]() Adobe apologists are all over this forum and will bend over backward to suggest that it's the users' fault that we are having these issues. It's software for video editors who are, in theory, getting paid for their service as video editor. For support threads to work, the comments have to be constructive and not self-contradictory. What's a little strange, though, is that someone says that customer acquisition is important, and then in the very next sentence complains about "spending all their time trying to gain new customers" which is customer acquisition. From the UserVoice page, it's clear that some 284 users do not think so - maybe it was easy enough already. ![]() This was an effort to "focus on consumer retention and consumer acquisition" by making things easier. I'm in favor of trying something that will make video editing easier for those that do not have the benefit of professional training or mentoring from an established video editor. I'm pretty sure we'll see the new Import/Edit/Export become a user preference. Someone new to video editing should explore their options be it Premiere Pro, Rush, Resolve, Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, LumaFusion, Vegas, iMovie, or Photoshop (yeah, Photoshop can edit video). Threads are pretty useless when they devolve into arguments.
